CCTV
Closed circuit-television systems are one of the most common security systems used today.
Digital video recorders (DVRs)
Our DVRs range from 4 to 32 channel and are able to store data of surveillance footage for a
period of time depending on the capacity of the hard drive and the detection frequency when
individual cameras are programmed to record images only when movement is detected.
Portable mini alarm DVRs are also available for those small apllications such as the monitoring of
boats, caravans, vehicles, or independent rooms, that are meant to act more as a temporary
solution to a security problem, rather than as a permanent security system. They act as camera,
alarm and DVR, all in one portable unit.
Cameras
Cameras used in a CCTV security system vary depending on their placement and purpose.
Pincott Security supplies a range of cameras to cater for every application.
• Board cameras
• Box cameras
• Bullet cameras
• Covert cameras
• Dome cameras
• P/T cameras
• Square cameras
• Underwater cameras (up to 60m)
• Waterproof cameras
Online monitoring
Our DVRs offer remote access, allowing our clients to log on to their CCTV system from
anywhere in the world and view live footage from a computer or smart phone.
Many DVRs may claim to offer this function including cheaper and lower quality models.
However, one must be wary when choosing a DVR as even though this function might be listed in
the product specifications, this does not mean it would work efficiently as its performance would
instead be heavily dependent on the internet connection used.
