Intruder alarms

In 1972 Anthony Tonna, the Managing Director of Pincott Security, installed his first Intruder alarm security system. Today, we have established a large customer base and earned a renowned reputation of quality, trust and professionalism. For more information see How to choose an alarm (2011 Brochure - Tips to stay secure and not become a victime of crime).

Control panel

The control panel is the controlling component of a burglar alarm system. It receives information from the intruder alarm sensors, monitors their operational integrity and provides for automatic control of equipment, such as setting off any sirens and lights, and contacting the client.

The control panel is powered by the mains supply and has a battery to be used as a back up when the power is out. Our batteries can supply our intruder alarm systems for up to an average of 30 hrs. However, this is highly dependent on a number of factors including the quality and life expectancy of the battery being used.

Detectors & sirens

Detection is key, therefore, the quality of the product is essential as it determines the efficiency of the product. By following this principle we can minimise false alarms and fully enjoy the comfort and safety an intruder alarm system can offer. Most of our intruder alarm systems consist of the following detectors:

Beam -
Laser beam detector
Door point - Door point sensor
Inertia sensor - Window point sensor
PIR - Passive infra red detector

We have sirens that are designed for both indoors and outdoors. The number and placement of sensors and sirens in every one of our intruder alarm systems is determined by hour specialists by conducting a security sight survey.

24 hour monitoring service

This is done by linking the intruder alarm system to our Central Station on our premises, via telephone land line or GSM.

Our Computers will send and receive a test call on a daily basis to inform our technicians of the condition of the alarm system, verifying that all check points set by us are in order. If and when there are any failures, the system will automatically report the fault to us, and our technicians will contact you to either reslove the problem over the telephone line or conduct a site visit.
